Hello all,  I just got back from Dubai, United Arab Emirates and thought that I would review one of the many books that I read.

I received this book free from the Author.  It was exciting to start and then it slowed down to the point where I almost put it down, however I hoped that it would get better so I did not put it down and it did.  It does have a very pendulum style to it in that it speeds up and then slows down.

The Author is very skilled at creating a world and the characters in it.  I was drug into the story line and felt bad for Catherine and hated Nathan along with other feelings.  There are some triggering language in this book but it is only 2 pages and can be skipped if needed.  While important, it is not a main plot point.

Darkness is an utter and powerful emotion and element that many deal with on a daily basis.  This book is about how that darkness that feeds on fear and strengthens from evil can be beat by love and strength of character.

I enjoyed this book and how Catherine was able to overcome herself and overcome the life she came from to face her demons and face what fate had in store for her.
