Netgalley Knockout – Kickoff!

Welcome to the kickoff of the Netgalley Knockout hosted by the always lovely Goldilox and the Three Weres. For those that don’t know what Netgalley is, it is a place where reviewers can go to request books to review. Edelweiss is the same type of thing, but Edelweiss Knockout just doesn’t have the same ring.

Now, sometimes our eyes are bigger than time allows, and we get a little click happy. The suddenly we have 37 million books to review. (ok, that may be a bit of an exaggeration) What this event does is help us get through all the back log of books to review.

I am fortunate, in that my list for Netgalley & Edelweiss are not as long as some, but I have several books sent by the author that I have accepted for review that I have yet to get to. So, here is my list of everything I hope to get done in the month of August.

*Note: I have listed the books that I have read but need to write reviews for as well. They count in my head of things I need to do!

Well now … typing that list made me a little ill. That also doesn’t count the Book Rooster (another place to get review books) books in my line up. So, if you are an author on that list and are waiting … now you know why. I will get to as many as I can this month, and will update this post with my progress. And the reviews that apply to this challenge will have a smaller version of the button on them.
