So, I am sure you can guess from the title of this post, that I am getting married. What the title doesn’t tell you is that my big day is THIS COMING SATURDAY.
Yeah.
So I have been a little scatterbrained. Hence the disturbing lack of posts.
I apologize. I feel like I have failed you. 
To make up for that, I would like to offer you a bribe.
I am not above buying your love.
Since I am going on a cruise for my honeymoon, I am going to give you some random, to be determined, souvenir. Maybe a silly framed picture of me. Maybe a collection of shot glasses. WHO KNOWS??
Also, some misc book swag. Of course. Unfortunately, this giveaway is not international. You know I usually make them available to everyone, but this has to be an exception. Please don’t hate me!

congratulations! i’m wishing you many many years of absolute bliss! my advice is to pick your battles….ask yourself is taking a stand on this or that REALLY important or do you just not want to be wrong. in my marriage, i’ve found it’s mostly a matter of pride and when i step back and take a look, it truly will not matter in the long run

CONGRATS!! A friend of mine from work is getting married on the same day
As for advice? Well, I’m probably not the best person to give out advice as I don’t even have a boyfriend (alas, books are my true love…), and marriage is like a whole ‘nother universe to me. But I’d just say expect to fight every once in a while – I think in any healthy relationship it happens sometimes – just be honest, understanding, and forgiving with each other no matter what and you’ll pull through!

Congratulations! I’m not sure I’m an expert, after all, I’ve only been married a little over two years myself, but my husband and I always try to remember to find time to laugh even when times are hard. We also often work different schedules so we try to do whatever we can to take advantage of those free times we do have together, even if it’s just to lay around watching TV together, catching up on the shows we both like.
