Blissany Cherry is tired of sleeping around. Her neurologists’ sleep solutions have failed her. Now that her bizarre sleeping habits have begun to include week long dreams she has resorted to her own methods for a cure.
METHOD ONE: CONTROL DREAMS. All attempts to morph dreams about a gorgeous warrior into romantic fantasies are thwarted. He keeps on insisting she is destined to marry a great king and lead their armies into war. At the end of every dream he asks her: will you fight the war and save mankind?
She laughs in his face.
METHOD TWO: RESIST! Blissany has plans for her life. None include fighting an intergalactic war. When her dreams begin spilling over into reality, she is forced to make a decision that will forever redefine her life. Standing between destiny and desire, she is left with only one option.
METHOD THREE: SURVIVE.
Hello wonderful readers of Little Read Riding Hood. I am Audrey. Law hired me to conduct all her celebrity interviews. Today I am interviewing Gabriel. Starring as Blissany’s hot, warrior disciple in the new adult fantasy romance Superheroes Wear Faded Denim, I have been told he is a sight to behold.
Just to give you a brief introduction. Gabriel is 6’2 with a runner’s physique. His body could have been sculpted from stone. He has curly, black hair and green eyes that’ll have you thinking, take me camping! Broad, white wings stretch forth from his back. He is a bit of a nerd, so if you want to turn this guy on you might want to memorize a few calculus problems.
Now I took this interview in my living room. Bookshelves line every inch of my wall. Thick Victorian styled couches stuffed with pillows encircle a coffee table where two cups of hot chocolate sit. While sitting in such an intimate setting, I boldly asked:
What is your favorite song to make out to:
Even though I have lived thousands of years, Blissany was my first kiss. I hope to never kiss another woman again.
If you could change careers and be an expert instantly, what career would you choose:
Sometimes I do tire of being one of the Highest, fighting an endless war against my own brother. Teaching is my passion. If I were a human with a career, I would be a professor on some university. Probably teaching literature or science or math or all three. One can dream, can’t they?
What is your greatest extravagance:
My brothers hate my desire to treat all my guests like kings when they come to visit. I take the laws of hospitality very seriously, too seriously they would say.
Blissany is one example. Before she became truly involved in the war, I would have her visit me every morning. To the horror of my brothers, we would dine on my balcony. There would be some kind of honeyed tea and freshly baked goods. Fruits with colored sugars to dip them in would sit in a variety of china.
She took it the wrong way.
Blissany has taught me a very valuable lesson. Men and women are not the same. I should know that. I make humans all the time, but making them and interacting with them are not the same either.
What exactly is a custodia? And what does it mean to be a part of the Highest:
A custodia is just the Latin word for angel. We speak Latin in the High Court. A lot of humans will refer to Suprema Curia (the High Court) as Heaven, and Infera Curia (the Low Court) as Hell.
There is a strict order we follow in the High Court. It usually denotes someone’s power. There is Nivide, who need not be numbered because she is supreme. Then there are the Highest, Nivide’s most powerful creations. All made from Michael’s rib, we are related. There used to be six of us. Apollyon fell, and Temeluchus was cast out of our flock.
To Fifty Shades of Grey or not to Fifty Shades of Grey:
Isn’t that an erotica novel?
What ran through your head when Blissany admitted to wanting to sleep with you:
Really. I couldn’t be kind and answer that. You will make me answer?
Revulsion. Please do not misunderstand me. Blissany is a very attractive woman. She is a very beautiful and perfectly made creation, and I do love her, but she is a human. Who knows what disaster such a mating would bring, maybe even the end of the world.
I do suppose the end of the world will come about someday if Apollyon is successful, and I should give it a go. Well speaking hypothetically, the thing is Wanikiya is desperately in love with Blissany, and if I slept with her it would ruin his chances. I am not boasting. If such a place existed where humans and custodiae mated, I would not sleep with a woman who I would not bind to me.
Besides, love is not meant for my kind. That is why custodiae do not have a female gender. It is an irrational, emotional chemical mess anyway. Something I do not even understand fully. Apollyon knows more about love. Ask him.
What qualities do you most like in a woman? In a wife:
Can I admit a secret? I designed Blissany with the all the qualities I find attractive in women. Environment really impacted what became of the genetics I instilled in her, so please do not judge me.
Blissany is very kind, compassionate. She does not hold grudges, she is accepting, she is playful, and open-minded. She hopes for the best, and can see in all the darkness a bit of light.
I do wish she were a bit braver.
Would you keep secrets from a spouse? Why or why not:
If your spouse truly loves you, should he or she not be able to love you completely, even the darkest parts of you?

Law Reigns has an odd obsession with romance. At the advice of her friends, she gave up the plight of playing cupid in their lives. Developing her own characters to manipulate proved to be more rewarding. After having studied creative writing at the University of Florida, she decided to write Superheroes Wear Faded Denim. A proud Gator alumni, she based her novel where blood runs orange and blue. She personally invites all adventure druggies and love fanatics to dive into the pages of Faded Denim, a story that transforms a swampy, southern town into a battlefield for life and love.

Great interview. The book blurb made me giggle. Great MC name, great blurb, great idea for a premise. Sounds like tons of fun! Very Thor-ish (which to me is a good thing!) Thanks for sharing it!
I didn’t see the Thor-ish aspect, but now that you mention it …
Thank you for this wonderful interview.
You are welcome, I loved it!
